Markets - Names related to lucrative market segments are valuable. For example,
Computers.com is much more valuable than plasticbags.com.
Not Limiting
- Names that are not too limiting are more valuable. Electronics.com, for example,
is more valuable than VCR.com. Smart internet companies are realizing that they
do not want to limit later expansion by a name that pigeon-holes them. Amazon.com
is a great example.
